The vote was close, but squares beat circles in our Procurement Transformation Framework (PTF) logo contest. As expected, there was quite a bit of “circle fatigue” among our voters, and the squares are “fresh, different”. We also had a few comments on the color choices with no arguments on the blue and yellow, but pink is clearly not what you want to see for “hey, I am just getting started.” The purple in the winning design appears to take the edge off those concerns.
We are now going to take this logo and start planning our formal launch of the PTF over the next few weeks. We’ve gotten a lot of questions on who can participate, how and when, and we’re working on those answers. In the meantime, if you have other questions or recommendations, please leave a comment below.
We need your input and volunteers to turn the PTF into the community-driven benchmarking tool that we believe it can be, and that procurement leaders have been asking for.
