Just last week SciQuest announced some exciting news for our customers with our intent to acquire Upside Software, a leader in Contract Lifecycle Management solutions. Today, we’re pleased to announce that the acquisition is complete, and we can officially introduce our new SciQuest team in Canada. And while the deal has closed, we see this as just the beginning of a great partnership and innovative new products for our customers.
As we’ve spoken to many industry analysts over the last week, we’ve heard repeatedly how highly regarded Upside is in the industry – not only for its CLM technology, but also for its employees. According to industry analysts:

We couldn’t agree more! While Upside’s ranking as a leader in CLM technology certainly drew us to the company in the first place, we believe it is the people and their expertise that will continue to drive product innovation as we integrate the contract management solution into SciQuest’s full source-to-settle suite. Leading the charge in our new Edmonton location is Maurice Sevigny, vice president of operations for CLM. Our Canadian team is already familiar with Maurice’s leadership and dedication to customers and employees, so we’re thrilled to welcome him as the newest member of SciQuest’s executive leadership team.
