SciQuest Furthers Client Commitment with Completion of SAS 70 Audit and 2006 Customer Satisfaction Survey
Back to News ReleasesBased on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Statement on Auditing Standard (SAS) No. 70, the audit was conducted in January 2007 by a nationally-recognized independent auditing firm. The service auditor’s review of SciQuest’s general controls supporting the company’s SelectSite and HigherMarkets Solutions was published in a Type I report addressing the control activities that have been implemented to ensure SciQuest’s control objectives are met. The report also addresses all five components of internal control outlined in the Sarbanes-Oxley legislation, namely the control environment, risk assessment activities, control activities, information and communication systems, and monitoring activities.
