Former SCT Executive Joins SciQuest as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Research Triangle Park, N.C., February 15, 2005 - SciQuest, Inc today announced that it has named Jeff Martini as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Martini is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of sales and sales leadership experience. In his new role at SciQuest, Martini will be responsible for global sales strategy, operations and execution.

Martini most recently served as vice president of worldwide sales for VirtualEdge Corporation, an ASP software company focused on real-time recruiting technology for the extended enterprise. In this role, he led the company's sales efforts to year on year growth exceeding 100%. Previously, he was vice president of worldwide sales for Primavera Systems, a provider of enterprise project portfolio management software. There, he was responsible for leading the global sales force, with operations in the US, UK and Hong Kong, as well as channel partners in 85 countries. During his tenure at Primavera, Martini again was responsible for significantly growing the organizations top line revenue including impressive gains in enterprise class software sales. Earlier in his career, Martini served in multiple sales and marketing leadership roles at SCT Corporation, a provider of enterprise software applications. As corporate vice president of sales at SCT, Martini was responsible for sales strategy and operations across all vertical markets and drove the adoption of sales and sales management best practices.
