Stephen Wiehe
President and Chief Executive Officer

Stephen Wiehe Since joining SciQuest as president and CEO in 2001, Steve has taken the company from an e-market exchange to the leading provider of on-demand eprocurement solutions for academic, healthcare and research-centric organizations. His vision for SciQuest's future led him to take the company private in 2004 and focus on creating a business-driven culture that provides organizations with a proven solution to achieve significant cost savings and advance their mission.

Steve has led the company to a compelling financial position by growing revenues and deeply instilling fiscal responsibility, making SciQuest the only profitable eprocurement provider. He focuses on guiding the company to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction through innovative product development and a dedicated professional services team.

Steve's early success as a technology entrepreneur continues to fuel his passion for leading companies to excellence. Prior to SciQuest, he served as senior director, strategic investments & mergers and acquisitions at SAS Institute in Raleigh, North Carolina. He joined SAS in June 2000, after SAS acquired DataFlux Corporation, where he served as president and CEO.

Before joining DataFlux, Steve was managing director/Europe and senior executive vice president for SunGard Treasury Systems, a division of SunGard Data Systems, Inc., and president and CEO of Multinational Computer Models, Inc., which was sold to SunGard Data Systems in 1998.

A well-seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience, Steve started his career with the General Electric Company. He graduated from its renowned Financial Management Program with honors and became treasurer of GE Plastics. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky.

Jamie Duke
Chief Operating Officer

Jamie DukeJamie Duke drives the planning and management of product design, launch and enhancements for all of SciQuest's technology solutions including procurement applications, materials management solutions and scientific research applications.

Jamie most recently served as chief information officer of BuildNet, a solutions provider for the construction materials industry. His prior experiences include roles as vice president of sales and marketing at GE Capital Mortgage, group vice president for technology and alternative channels for First Citizens Bank and as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co.

A graduate of Duke University, Jamie also has a master's degree from MIT's Sloan School of Management.

Jeff Martini
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Jeff MartiniJeff is responsible for the direction of SciQuest's global sales initiatives. He brings more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in technology markets, developing sales strategies and building exceptional sales teams.

Prior to joining SciQuest, Jeff served as vice president of worldwide sales for VirtualEdge Corporation, a world-leading provider of real-time recruiting software for the extended enterprise. In this position, he led the sales organization to 100% year-over-year growth. Previously, Jeff served as vice president of worldwide sales at Primavera Systems, a portfolio management vendor, where he was responsible for significantly growing enterprise software sales for the company.

Jeff also served in multiple roles at SCT Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise software applications, including corporate vice president of sales. While at SCT, he designed and implemented sales and sales management best practices across the global sales organization for all vertical markets.

Jeff is a graduate of Gettysburg College.

Jennifer Kaelin
Vice President of Finance

Jennifer KaelinJennifer is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the finance and legal departments as well as the company's financial resources. Jennifer brings more than 13 years of expertise in financial planning, building excellent finance teams, and streamlining processes.

Prior to joining SciQuest, Jennifer was corporate controller at Art.com, an e-tailer of posters, prints and custom framing. During her tenure at Art.com, she oversaw the financial aspects of the company's first round of private funding as well as the merger and consolidation of the finance function with their competitor, Allposters.com.

Previously, she served as controller for several manufacturing sites at Moduslink, a global supply chain management company for technology-based manufacturers. While at Moduslink, she centralized accounts payable as well as consolidated the finance function for six manufacturing sites as well as the corporate and regional headquarters. Jennifer was also a financial analyst for IBM and worked for several years as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand.

Jennifer holds a master's in accounting and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and she is a certified public accountant.

Gamble Heffernan
Vice President of Marketing and Strategy

Gamble HeffernanGamble is responsible for overseeing SciQuest's marketing operations to ensure the continuation of the company's rapid growth and expansion into new markets, where a strategic approach to procurement promises to generate significant efficiencies and savings. She brings more than 20 years of product management and marketing experience to the company.

Gamble joined SciQuest from Misys, an application software and services provider to the financial services and healthcare industries, where she served as senior vice president of Community Solutions, focusing on community hospitals and their integration of ambulatory physicians through electronic medical records (EMR). Gamble had previously been senior vice president, Product Management for Healthcare. Prior to Misys, she was vice president and general manager of professional services and consulting for Cardinal Health and the director of the ALARIS® Center for Medication Safety and Clinical Improvement.

Prior to Cardinal Health/ALARIS, Gamble served as vice president of services marketing at Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, a Johnson & Johnson company, where she was responsible for leading a new business focused on the development and launch of software and service products. Previously, she worked for GE Medical Systems where she held various management positions including General Manager for eBusiness, General Manager for Clinical Information Systems and Senior Business Unit Manager for Neonatal.

Ann Thomas
Vice President of Human Resources

Ann ThomasAnn is responsible for the strategic direction and management of SciQuest's human resource policies and programs. In this role, she upholds the company's continued commitment to recruiting the most qualified and capable workforce, and to realizing the highest levels of employee satisfaction. Ann brings more than 20 years of experience in every facet of the field to the company.

Prior to joining SciQuest, Ann was a director at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the national, professional organization for all CPAs. In this position, she led the acquisition of talent that resulted in hiring more than 400 employees for the relocated organization.

Previously, Ann served as vice president/HR business partner for the Social and Statistical Sciences group at RTI International, which offers innovative research and development as well as a full spectrum of multi-disciplinary services worldwide. She also served as an assistant vice president for St. Joseph Health System in California.

Ann holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Redlands.
