Position Summary:
SciQuest, a leading global provider of a web-based, modular suite of e-Procurement, supplier management, and materials management solutions is seeking an experienced professional Sales Executive.
We are currently seeking to hire an accomplished sales professional, to assist in building our business. For focused individuals who thrive in an environment of change and who have demonstrated a highly successful sales track record, this position provides high visibility, and extraordinary rewards. While the focus is on enterprise software solution sales, this individual will also be an independent, autonomous and creative performer. This individual must also be a team player who can successfully partner with the pre-sales support function.
Overview / Scope of Position:
- Sales of SciQuest solutions in an assigned territory
- Generation of prospect pipeline in an assigned territory
- Document and present analysis and solutions to customers
- Accountability for all customer/prospect facing activity
- Development, maintenance and execution of territory and account plans
- Development and maintenance of reference customers
Position Requirements:
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrable success selling complex software solutions
- Excellent presentations skills
- Proven ability to build and deliver credible business value propositions in a specific vertical at CXO level
Preferable:
- Predominantly direct sales
- Mobility suitable for territory and SciQuest office location
- Knowledge of eProcurement/Supplier Management/Supply Chain/Logistics solutions market * Success in a specific industry
- Demonstrable ability to work effectively in team and virtual team environments
- Experience selling to Life Sciences and/or Higher Education
